I looked into these over a year ago, and bought a pair. I chose these due to reviews and price. I was not disappointed. My wife started borrowing them for her peleton rides and likes them so much I am getting a second pair for her. I looked at other options, and still decided these are the best for the money. She would rather use these than airpods and also has a couple year old pair of beats that are less comfortable with way less battery life. I use these almost daily - mostly for calls while multitasking at work and while exercising. Sometimes casual music or podcast early or late to not bother rest of the house. The noise cancellation is great, and ambient aware mode is a nice feature when not totally immersed. The fit is comfortable and stays put, some minor adjustment once and a while. I never need to worry about them falling out though, had a bike crash last weekend, total yard sale out on a trail, they stayed put and were still pumping out tunes as I picked myself up off the dirt. The case and earbuds are holding up well. I'm hard on my stuff, have dropped the case numerous times, have dropped the earbuds, zero issues. Use almost everyday, sometimes up to several hours, on average I have only needed to plug in the case once a week. Nothing but reliable playback. App is cool as well to fine tune, only used it initially a couple times. Highly recommend for active lifestyle.

I purchased these earbuds a little over a year ago in October 2023 on Amazon.com. I got them on a 50% off deal for $75 USD. Their sound quality is great and their noise cancelling is really really good. I also use them for GMeet and Zoom meetings at work and those earbuds also have noise cancellation on the mic, which also works great and my colleagues in the online meeting don't hear the neighbors' lawn mower going or my dogs barking.
I was really pleased with the purchase. However, now after just one year of moderate use, the coating on case as well as earbuds is coming off! For the case, I was blaming this on myself as I was not using any case protector - but also the case only lives on my desk or my night stand, and was never put in a bag or a purse, so it didn't really receive any abuse. Sadly, not only is the coating coming off the case, but also the earbuds themselves. If you look on the picture it's actually "bubbling" on the earbuds. The color I bought was silver and you can tell from the picture over the months the coating also "yellowed". It's really off-putting and I'm quite disappointed. I would have expected much better durability for earbuds that are normally priced at $150 USD. I've always been a fan of JBL, but now I will likely look elsewhere, when I buy new earbuds.

Great earbuds, with a few minor shortcomings.

Pros:
- Sound - great, an with customisable eq.
- Controls - customisable, very good. Only downside is needing to choose between volume controls and track skipping controls when remapping. For me, no worries since I control audio via a watch anyway, but might impact some.
- ANC - very good for the price and works very well in wind and on transport.
- Battery life - excellent.
- App - very good.

Cons:
- Has intermittent drop outs of maybe 0.5-1 second or so. You'll find this well documented and without resolution to date. It's basically as if you're listening normally, and then one eadbud drops the sound, followed by the other, then no sound for under 1 second and then it's back. This happens quite frequently, maybe once or twice an hour when running, and I don't believe there's a fix. I'm on my second pair of these headphones and both sets have done the same thing, so it's not a once off. Not a deal breaker for me, but something that might really annoy some folks.
- Does have a tendency to pop out from time to time when running (at least for my ears). Just takes some work to position them to start with and the odd readjust

Overall very happy with this set of buds. Very versatile.

After getting a few cheap (less than $20 per pce) Bluetooth earbuds and discovering those suck at calls, I am almost giving up on BT earbuds already. But finally I decided to invest in this high cost earbuds after reading reviews. Wireless connect is smooth; mic is good and loud for calls now! Mic is louder when meeting on the phone than on the laptop. But the connection to my phone did drop twice during 1 zoom call (but nothing happened when I was zooming on my laptop) so I’m monitoring further. Enough bass in music and the ANC is good. Using the JBL app with this. Box is magnetic and kinda “sucks” the earbuds into position. Buds fits snugly into my small ears. Quite satisfactorily buy. Bought fm official shop is better due to too many fake products out there already. 1-year warranty is easy to apply, though the url is different fm printed on the warranty booklet in the box. JBL helpful live chat agent sent me to warranty.imsg.com for warranty registration.
