The tree arrived quickly after a long time tree failed to light this year. We ordered the candlelit fir flip tree since it is used for our traditional crystal and flowers tree (versus our penguin tree).

I would say installation was a breeze BUT the box arrived and I had to run an errand. SO the 4 cats decided to take responsibility for unpackaging and putting the tree up! When we got home, it was done. Given there small size and paws versus our hands, I am going to assume the tree 1) unwrapped from its cover easily, 2) rolled easily into position, 3) flipped when one of the cats must have jumped on the foot switch and 4) they worked as a team to lift the lightweight top half into position. We had no idea they understood electricity and plugged it in and turned the remote on.

BUT there it was: a fully installed tree in under 20 cat minutes. We were impressed.

The tree looks wonderful and the fir, once fluffed, leaves no bare spots. We like that it sits a little off the ground so the train and presents can easily go underneath. The branches are solid and easy to hang heavier ornaments on. The lighting candlelit LEDs are softer then regular LEDs. We have a 2nd Fir tree downstairs with a similar height, size and number of LED lights. This one blows that away for even light distribution and contrasting colors. It makes the other tree (not cheap one either) look like dark.

Overall, very happy with the purchase though disappointed that BH has reduced their warranties to 3 years overall from 10. I would like to know the ground truth for why they did that. Time will tell if this was a good decision and if the bulbs stay lit, needles don't fall, etc.

I bought this tree last year hoping it would be one that I could put up and take down without my husband's help in case he isn't home when I get ready to put it up or take it down. I have to admit that it is convenient to roll out into our garage (which has no steps) once it is put back in the storage bag at the end of the season. And it is not too difficult to take off the storage bag at the beginning of the season and then flip the tree up. The difficult part is making it fit back in the storage bag at the end of the season. I tried to flatten out the branches as much as possible, but there is no way I could ever get the storage bag back on the tree by myself. Without my husband doing most of the work, it would not get put back in the bag. I am in my 60's and in pretty good shape, but I am just not physically able to get the straps pulled around the tree and snugged up enough so that the velcro will close. I am fairly petite so maybe that is the problem. If I were a bigger person and had more strength I might be able to pull it off. It is also kind of hard to get the top section out of the main section when taking the tree down. I have to be on a step stool/ladder and then have to jerk it quite hard and I am afraid it is going to make me lose my balance. If my husband is doing it, he also has to struggle a bit to loosen it and pull it apart. I guess my main complaint is the storage bag. I think if it could be designed just a little bit differently it would make a world of difference. I would then probably be able to do it without help. We cannot even get the smaller top part of the tree back into the little storage bag that it goes in. I flattened out the branches as much as I could but I could not get the bag zipped so just left it unzipped. For the money we paid, I am disappointed it is not as easy to use as depicted in the video.

It's a beautiful tree but I can't say I would order it again. I'm not sure if the stiffness of the branches are because this is the first year using it or not. It's very hard to hang ornaments on the tree. I was expecting the branches to be softer. It is very full and has a very nice shape. I hope I'll learn to love it more, definitely not there yet.

We have owned several artificial trees, three high end. I was a little skeptical when I read the reviews about this being a realistic tree. We purchased the tree and it was delivered a few days later (kudos to FedEx on their customer service to arrange and deliver the tree).

The tree arrived in a huge box, well packed and no damage. It is easy for one person to unpack, just cut three plastic straps and roll out. I had the tree assembled in less than 15 minutes bit the spreading of the limbs and branches took about 8 hours (off and on working). I didn't mind the time because I was not in a hurry and I did notice the more time I took the better it looked. Balsam includes two pair of gloves to wear which I suggest using (this was a very nice touch).

We chose the 10 foot fir with candle lights. It looks real up to about 2 feet away. The tree is amazing in appearance, easy to assemble. How the end product looks is up to you and the time you are willing to spend adjusting the limbs. It looks good if you rush it as well.

I would definitely recommend these trees to anyone considering. They are high quality and come with excellent customer service.
