3 in 1 Space Astronaut Lego Creator
Carl· Review provided by walmart.ca · January 2, 2025
We purchased this item online for our 6 year old for Christmas for pickup. Wal-Mart was very accurate with timing of delivery to the store. The box says for 9+ however it was fairly easy for them to follow the instructions. We did have to help a little bit.
Our only issue with this product was there is 1 piece that broke! It was a joint piece which a 6 year old should not be able to break. Not even a hour into creating their model. Actually it should not break if an adult usues it either.
We went to a Lego store and they were not able to help with a replacement. We were told to go online. Buyer beware **9.95 handling fee for 1 piece.
We were determined not to spend 1/4 of the cost of the toy for 1 piece. We ventured to a 2nd store and the were able to replace the piece. * Luckily we live in an urban city with more than 1 store.
Would absolutely recommend

Having only built Galilleo and Dr Who Tardis, but being 19 so an older beginner at Lego (also with a neuro muscular disorder and a hand tremor!!), my son LOVED this set, the build was neither boring, nor too fiddly or complicated to create frustration. Took 3 or so hours to build. The end result is fantastic. Really very stable in many positions and incredibly satisfying visually. (I absolutely love it also). Has only built the fantastic spaceman so far, so still has the novelty of breaking it down and bulding the other two options. This is such a pleasing set all round

My son definitely loves the astronaut Lego set! It's really well made, not too expensive, and super strong. The design is cool and can be used in lots of different ways for pretend play. He spends a long time building and playing with it, and it doesn't break easily. It’s a great Lego set for kids who love space, with good quality, a fair price, and lots of ways to play. Versatility is also important for kids, this is a great education set for children to learn about. Highly recommend!

I am truly loving the ideas that Lego comes out with. The 3 in 1 always catch my eye and this one did not disappoint. After building the astronaut I knew he needed his trusty four-legged companion. So went back and got a second one. FYI: you have to sort all the pieces to make the dog. I did make some adjustments on the astronaut by adding a finger with some extra pieces from the second kit. Seeing it with only four fingers was just weird to me. And I made the stand for the dog a bit higher as well some extra pieces . Will have them on display with my books on space and Tales of Space Age set soon.
